Handsome
fold-out 1975 Amoco road map of Florida, printed more than 41 years
ago.
The map opens to 25½” x 18″ and has great
detail on old highway alignments, with cartography
by the National Survey.
There are inset plans of Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Tampa-St.
Petersburg, the Miami metropolitan area, and the West Indies, with
Bermuda.
The map was distributed in 1975 by the American Oil Company to promote
its Amoco brand. It is
dated on the front cover.
The front cover
artwork includes Amoco’s red-flame oval logo.
There’s an ad for Quaker State Motor Oil on the back
cover.
