Large African Carved Gourd W/ Woven Handle and Base Human Figures Geometric

Description

Gourd is approximately 15” tall and is covered in designs that have been carved into the material. The darker lines makes me think some pigment has been rubbed into the cuts to make them stand out. Or, perhaps the line work was created with a wood burner. Has a woven handle and base that appears to be a reed-like material.
Being a natural, hand-crafted item, there are some inconsistencies in the materials, but the gourd is in overall good shape. If you have questions feel free to ask. Thanks!
