This is an 802.11n standard mini wireless USB adapter specially developed for Intel Macs running Mac OS 10.5 up to 10.15 Catalina. This item works with any Mac that has a USB port- you do not need to have an Airport card in your Mac. This is a great option to make any Mac without an internal WiFi card, or a broke one, into a Wi-Fi capable Mac right away. This makes for a great replacement in the event your Airport/internal WiFi card stops working.
*When launching the installer from the CD, be sure to Control-click the install icon and select Open from the popup menu. In these OS versions, default Gatekeeper settings will not allow the installer to be launched just by double-clicking the icon since the application is not originating from the Apple app store.
