Description: You are bidding on a vintage hand-carved wooden statue of a female figure.
Judging from the stylized, lanky aesthetic, this figure is likely from West Africa although the tribal affiliation and country of origin are unknown. Senegal is a wild guess. It was owned by a well-traveled collector who obtained it in the 1950’s.
The base appears to be made from lucite.
Size: 59 inches from head to base.
